Our Building Trades Apprenticeship Program and Mechanical Equipment Service Apprenticeship Program each offer training opportunities to grow and develop into a highly skilled tradesperson.

Building Trades

The 5-year Building Trades program is dedicated to training apprentices in the fields of welding, pipefitting and plumbing installation.  Building Trades Apprentices learn to install and maintain piping systems in commercial and industrial settings such as hospitals, power plants, manufacturing plants and many other facilities.

Apprentices in this program work for a signatory contractor earning a wage determined by the current contract and attend school one day a week every other week.  In each year of apprenticeship, the apprentice must meet certain requirements in order to advance to the next year of apprenticeship.  At the end of the 5 years if all requirements have been met, the apprentice is advanced to journeyperson status.
